Cross-Country Skiing

At the end of winter break, a few friends and I trekked out to Hammond Hill (map) to try our luck at cross-country skiing. A few of us had never gone cross-country skiing before, though we were lucky to have some good teachers.

Although Sequoia wasn't nearly as big as her namesake, she was more photogenic than the rest of us, thus, many pictures of Sequoia.

And... then we decided to make a cranberry cake. Ai insisted that we cut every single cranberry in half. Trevor tried to conceal his skepticism.

Five hours later, Jesse finally reassembled the 216 magnetic spheres into a single cube. I have no idea how he took this photo, because the rest of us had long since gone to sleep.
